...Where everyone has the opportunity to belong. At CANVAS Church, people who join us will be accepted just as they are. We will not judge anyone according to appearances. Everyone has need of our Savior, Jesus Christ, and we welcome all to come to Him here.
...Where everyone has the opportunity to be restored. At CANVAS Church we understand that although God accepts each one of us right where we are, he also loves us too much to leave us there. CANVAS Church is full of people who love God and have received salvation, restoration, healing, and deliverance. Freely we have received, so freely we shall give.
...Where everyone has the opportunity to grow. At CANVAS Church, we know that once we are saved or born again, we are not instantly mature Christians. When a baby is born, he depends on his parents for everything... until he grows and can sustain himself. We believe that each person at our church will be like a member of a big family. Healthy families are created and sustained by healthy relationships. Healthy relationships allow each person to grow.
...Where everyone has the opportunity to reproduce. At CANVAS Church, we understand that God brings us to maturity so that we can reproduce ourselves in others. Each person knows someone older than himself as well as someone younger than himself. We who are older in our faith should always be reaching to those who are younger in order to help bring them to where we are at. We should always be looking to those who are older in their faith so that we can grow from their wisdom and experience as well.
...Where everyone has the opportunity to be authentic. At CANVAS Church, we value authenticity. We invite everyone to be just who they are! Be real and be yourselves, we'll be real right along with you. We want to experience the real presence of God and will make every effort to make sure that our services and programs reflect this value.
...Where everyone is having fun. At CANVAS Church, we want to make every experience you and your family have here delightful and fun.

The Church that I see is a Church of influence. It is a friend to the community that is always very quick to give when people are in need and a help to our neighbors. It is a Church that is growing so quickly and making such a difference that our city takes notice of it.
I see a Church which resonates with the praises of our God and Savior. To step into this Church is to step into the very presence of God Himself. The very heart of this Church is driven to worship God with everything within us.
The Church I see is one big, happy family. The relationships within this body of people are so healthy and life-giving so that through them, people are being saved, delivered, and healed.
I see a Church whose altars are constantly filled with repentant sinners responding to Christ's call to salvation.
I see a Church that depends on the Holy Spirit for everything. It's a Church whose people are praying and full of God's Spirit, a people unified in heart and mind.
I see a Church that is leading the next generation to Jesus and allowing them to see their true value. It is a Church that is not afraid to allow them to express their love for God and to use the gifts He's so freely placed inside of them.
The Church I see has vision to impact the city, the region, and the World. It creates opportunities to bless people both locally as well as internationally and possesses a missionary's heart of compassion for the lost.
I see a Church who is blessed in all areas of their lives. Strong marriages, strong families, strong bodies, and strong finances are an excellent testimony to God's power.
The Church I see meets together corporately as well as in small groups around the region. We celebrate corporately but build relationships in smaller settings. One day, CANVAS will be know as "one Church with many locations".

We believe that the Bible is God's Word. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our everyday lives. It alone is the final authority for determining all doctrinal truths. (2Tim. 3:16)
We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy. (Matt. 3:16, 17; 28:19)
We believe that man was created in the image of God but through voluntary disobedience he sinned and fell. Sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives. The Lord Jesus Christ as both God and man is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless life and is our only example of how to live. (Gen. 1:27; Eph. 1:6,7)
We believe that Jesus Christ was born of a virgin and that He was crucified and died in order that we may be forgiven of all of our sins and be able to be in right relationship with God. He was buried and rose again from the dead in three days to prove victory over death and to empower us in life. (Isa. 7:14; Matt. 1:18-23)
We believe in the salvation of sinners through grace and faith. Salvation is a gift from God, not a result of our good works or of any human effort. We receive forgiveness of our sins when we repent of our sins, believe in Jesus Christ, and confess that He is our Lord and Savior. To repent is to commit to turn away from our sins and follow Jesus Christ. (Eph. 2:8,9)
We believe that Jesus commands each believer to be baptized in water. Water baptism is administered to those who are born again. When a believer is baptized in water, we believe that God fills the believer with the power of the Holy Spirit, enabling them to use spiritual gifts. (Acts 2:38)
We believe the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, given at Pentecost, is the promise of the Father to all believers. The Holy Spirit endows each believer with power to serve God wholeheartedly and to serve others. The Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, manifests Himself through the believer in spiritual gifts which are used in order to build and sanctify the Church. The gifts of the Holy Spirit are to be in operation according to Biblical parameters. (1 Cor. 12-14)
We believe that God has equipped each of us so that we can successfully achieve God's purpose for our lives which is to worship God, find and fulfill our role in the Church, and serve the community in which we live. (Eph. 1:22, 23; 4:4-6; 4:9-16)
We believe that God desires to heal and transform us so that we can live healthy and victorious lives so that we may effectively help others.
We believe that our eternal destination of either Heaven or Hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ. (Matt. 5:12; 6:20; 1 Pet. 1:3,4)
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised.
